F16 Blade
This high performance catamaran is the latest evolution of the Blade design by Australian Designer Phill Brander. Made in Australia from all the highest quality materials, with workmanship second to none, the decades of catamaran building and sailing experience of the designers and manufacturers, shine through the end product.
The F16 Blade is a pleasure to sail, with it's moderate weight and advanced hull design making it's responsiveness on the water, more like a high performance dinghy than a traditional catamaran. Suitable for sailing one or two up, with spinnaker in both variations, the F16 Blade gives you the versatility to sail with family and friends, or alone as your mood and availability of crew require - ideal for todays busy lifestyle.
The remarkable volume in the hulls allows the F16 Blade to carry weights that no 5m cat designed before it can match and equal to many 18 foot cats, one up crews of 70kg plus can handle it, while two up crews of up to 160 kg can also enjoy the performance. Currently racing and winning in Australia with a VYC yardstick of 71.5, you can look forward to being at the front of any fleet if racing is your thing, or just enjoy the adrenalin pumping excitement as you blast across your favourite stretch of water.
